Description
Daniel, he is the protagonist from the game "Amnesia: the dark descent".I tried to draw him more like in the concept art (where he looks like an old man .__.), but more younger. Although in game he supposed to be in his twenties.
Also I tried to draw it like an old sketch from those times.
*Pencil 6B, 2H. Photoshop CS.

На концепт-арте Дэниелу лет сорок, не меньше. Хотя по приблезительным расчетам ему от 20 до 30 лет.
В общем, держа перед глазами концепт арт и перед мысленным взором примерный облик юноши, нарисовала что-то усредненное и больше отвечающее моим представлением о двадцатипятилетнем (возьмем среднее арифметическое) молодом человеке.
Хотела сделать рисунок похожим на набросок того времени, не знаю, вышло ли, но сам по себе он мне приятен.

But you're wrong, this is the character from horror game "Amnesia: dark Descent". Btw, I want to know more about novel you're talking about. Can you tell me what is it about? And who the author?

Oh... he looks EXACTLY like Daniel Blackburn. Daniel is a character from =star-blazer 's novel Fiction which has been at a publishing company for two years awaiting publication and will be released early to mid-2014. It's about the main character, Daniel (a writer), who slips into a laudanum induced coma and enters a nightmarish world of his dreams to be reunited with a young woman that he loved and lost. It starts out as a beautiful paradise, but when the shadows start hunting him and he realizes that time is running out for him, things get dark. It's ultimately about his delaying of death and how he becomes one with the world of his fiction

Amazing pencil work, and the background looks like a piece of burlap.
I really like how you based it off Daniel's concept art (I wish there was more of that), where is drawn as a disheveled, disoriented man trying to make sense of what's going on.
