The only reason I know that pokemon is because I've seen that movie sooo many times. :3 I love Lugia's song, it's so cool.

I have one thing to ask,how would one go about starting this, and where would I get the supplies?

I get most of my supplies from my local arts and crafts stores, but you can order a lot from the internet too. To get started I would choose a more simple sculpt then a dragon. Something that can be made out of simple shapes like balls of clay. Once you get a feel for how your clay handles then I would slowly move into more complex designs. Just remember practice makes perfect!

Thanks I add each scale individually so I can change the colors pretty easily.

Β Β Pretty, and a good balance between the small dark stripes and the rest of the light body. Β Pearl-white is always a color best left mostly undies turned (just so you know, I decided to leave this up for you to see just how far auto correct seems to go with its' non-corectiness)-- I meant to say undisturbed-- when it's used as a body color or a main color throughout a piece like this.
Β Β The head and brow design makes me think of a gargoyle eagle of some sort... Slender snout, little curls around the cheeks like fluffy feathers....

How do you keep your clay clean? I struggle so bad with that even when I wash my hands and clean my work surface.

Well the white pearl clay doesn't really get dirty...so just clean hands.
When I work with light colored clay or white though I wash my hands very frequently and whenever I do a color change. I also use baby wipes and rubbing alcohol to clean all my light and white sculpts before I bake them. It does take practice thou so be careful the first few times you attempt to clean your sculpt.

Thanks :] I was thinking of investing in baby wipes. I recently made a gift for my friend who's dad died and it was just so dusty by the end that I was just like...so I ended up sanding it which worked, but it's not something I'd like to do a lot in the future.Β

White and dark purple is one of my favourite colour combinations as well. There's something about it that is sleek and sporty without being too in-your-face.

I managed to make a really small fridge magnet horse for a friend which turned out rather nicely, but of course I forgot to take any pictures of all the things I made as christmas presents... ^^' I think side-view horses are doable but I wouldn't even try making a 3d one
