I've just had something of an epiphany. I've been wanting to do some Star Trek fanart, particularly for the reboot movie, so I decided to do some character sketched. I drew this and i was just like 'No, Epic Fail!'

I have been drooling over the work of and , and I looked at my effort and thought 'Why can't I draw like they do'?

Well, I figured that the only way to learn was to try. So it was back to the books and a reference picture, and I think that this, whilst still my own style, is a vast improvement. I am also playing with lighting direction.
