Description
A picture for a "12 days of Christmas" competition at the MLP Arena, in which I won 1st place! I had the line:"On the 10th Day of Christmas my true love sent to me
10 Lords a-leaping (...)"
So here are the 10 lords a.leaping!
In order of appearance:
Lord Flink-Trottle
Lord Hoppington
Lord Prancersham
Lord Daf (blue unicorn)
Lord Gingervere
Lord A-Hunting
Lord Streaksworth (who apparently thought it was "10 lords a-streaking")
Lord Pinker
Lord Snootington-Snootington
Lord Lardsby
All of them are my own creations, except for lord Daf who's (kindof) a co-lab in design by me and Daf himself
And Lord Pinker is Pinkie Pie's cousin, perhaps?
Some of the names are heavily referenced to P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves&Wooster.
And yes, some of the lords are too snooty to have symbols.
No refs used for poses. Done in Paint Tool SAI. Full view is HUGE.

Not having heard about P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves&Wooster, I read a few words on Wikipedia and it seems to be a collection of books and short stories, and some movies and such too ^^ Is there a TV show also?

yes, there's a BBC series that aired in the 90s ^^
and you can find it on DVD. just search "jeeves and wooster". it's so witty and clever and wonderful! With Stephen Fry (as Jeeves) and Hugh Laurie (as Wooster)

Not enough cutie marks, and where's Snails-esque, also OHMYGOODNESS IT'S A BUNCH OF EQUINES IN TOP HATS!
The resizing isn't good though, needs to be about half size to fit comfortably in my screen. At the moment it's really hard to view it as it's either too small or too big. I'm not trying to be mean, but it's annoying in general when art's badly sized and much worse when it's GOOD art!
Had a go myself ('cause seriously, this pic's rocking, plus I want to illustrate my point): 19 inches* was too small but 22 seems about right. Couldn't find anywhere that'd take the image without resizing it otherwise I'd show you what I mean.
* I'm a Brit but the art program I used defaults to inches and it's easy to work with for resizing.

Also HOLY SHIT 4.8 MB? Is this normal for SAI or is this pic just GINORMOUS?

uhm... I scanned it at very high resolution (it's hand-sketched on 2 A4 papers), and transferred it to sai... I hate working small, so I always work huge ^^'
I think it's an Illustrator thing - I'm kind of used to that program, and you can zoom beyond reality, without getting the picture all pixelly. I like to be able to zoom without getting pixels... so I guess it's just me. I have no clue how big others' SAI pictures are xD
