Thank you, they were pretty simple to make and I was happy with how they came out.Β

There is very little actually done to them I think helps with that. Shak's lips and eyes were repainted, the black gloves were added, the sleaves were painted green and I added in the STARS logo and sanded down the hair a little. Otherwise is just good parts.
John was full repainted, the hair had a pony tail so that was removed, priest collar and rosary were added. Same with the scar.
I had actualyl done them months ago but my phone camera was like LOLNO at me. And it's only really been in maybe the past six months (probably less actually) that I've really started to do the custom thing. Like with my tablet not working I've been looking for other things to keep myself busy.
I do wish the Wesker had been of the classic variety. Never really got into MVC in any big way. I didn't mind number 2 though. Except how the ending was absolutely Capcom trolling.

That's really cool how you can alter toys like that. Very neat!
Oh technology! That's happened a few times with my phone as well.
How'd the second one ended? Yeah, I never got into MvC or MvC 2 (doesn't help that it's old and think leaning on the rare side of games nowadays). I guess I got UMvsC3 just to try something new and that I've been wanting to get back into beat-em ups and fighting games in general again. What Mortal Kombat games would you suggest to me? I want to get back into them again (I had a helluva lot of fun as a kid playing MK1 and 2 on the Genesis/Megadrive).
I like both Richard Waugh and D.C. Douglas as Wesker even if the two are distinctly different from one another, but in my head when I do a little mental roleplay whenever drawing Wesker his ideal voice for me is a cross between both voice actors. I mean, Waugh WAS Wesker, he made that role his back in Code Veronica and RE4. So when RE5 came out with Douglas voicing him, I actually wasn't too impressed at first, but got used to it. However, I do like his voice now I'm playing through RE5 again in certain parts. Not to say, I'm just "used" to his voice, but I think Douglas hits it just right in instances like this [link] where he's not in a huge monologue scene. Maybe it's just the direction of how they took his character. Dunno. I will say though, Waugh's Wesker was more silky to me while Douglas' Wesker is more... well, he eats the the scene. So in my head, it's like a cross between both voices with the silkiness for conversions and maybe when he's going nuts Wesker's eating the scene.
I will say though, I do not like REmake's voice. It's good voice acting, but after Waugh and Douglas... just no. I can't hear REmake Wesker talk without missing his usual voice. At least they didn't go that direction with RE5. RE1 gets a pass... so bad it's good, but also because it was a 1995 game and voice acting then wasn't as nearly as good at norm nowadays.
I'm kinda shocked how long they've kept Alyson Court and Sally Cahill for Claire and Ada in the series. Most of the characters (even Leon) has had multiple voice actors, especially Jill and Chris even though all their voice actors more or less sound the same to me (even though I still have a soft for Catherine Disher's Jill from RE3).
Wesker actually has (outside of his taunts and dialogue, but then everyone in this game is over the top no matter who they are, even Hiryu... I think only Nemesis and Sentinel are the few that don't go over the top with taunts and stuff) some of his classic traits in his ending in UMvsC3. Storyline-wise, he was pretty much playing people (mainly the villains really) behind the scenes and collecting test subjects for experiments he has planned. He couldn't give a damn about Galactus. He just wants test subjects...

Ah, maybe it's just the lack of an accent that ruined for me in REmake then. Did he have one in RE0 though? I thought it sounded like it. Maybe I should go play through RE0 again and find out.
Maybe it's me, but Douglas seems a bit more refined (in terms in voice acting, not the characterization of Wesker) with Wesker in UMvsC3 to me. I don't know why.
Perhaps Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil 5's problems with Wesker pertains more to the script and direction they were taking with his character than just strictly the voice. I mean, from how Wesker is conveyed in the cutscenes in RE5, I think Waugh would sound off or really odd if he did the lines instead. I mean, voice and accent in itself notwithstanding, the script and direction of where they wanted to take the character could have also made a huge impact on Wesker as a whole (voice, presentation, etc).
Kinda like I how feel about Strider Hiryu right now. His English voice actor did a good job, the script and things he says is actually kinda outlandish (very slightly since this is Hiryu, but compare him to him Strider and Strider 1). However, everyone in the game is saying things pretty outlandish, so it actually makes him look like a straight man of any group. Anyway, after I switched to his Japanese voice actor option, I got use used to hearing him in that way and I actually prefer his Japanese voice. They're both kinda deep to me, but his Japanese voice actor has a cooler, smoother, and calmer tone in his voice. So I understand about Waugh vs. Douglas, Douglas just doesn't bother me as much as he used when I first heard him. I'd have to see Wesker in Umbrella Chronicles though to see what he says.
To me, part of Wesker's problem in RE5 stemmed from the script, it seemed a bit outlandish for RE game, even post RE4 as well. I mean, I can see Leon pulling off some cheesy one-liners as a character, but I can't see Wesker doing similar outlandish stuff like that. .
Ah, I'm sorry for the mass of typos in that last paragraph. Must of have night and not aware of how tired I was. Anyway, I'll always have a soft spot for Catherine Disher's RE3 Jill. I think in my head, even over REmake's Jill, that she's the definitive Jill. I like RE5/UMvC3's Jill. I think she conveys Jill as well a Disher's, but Disher has the best Jill. I think she with RE5/UMvsC3 Jill (in second place) conveyed Jill in the best way.
It's weird though, I'll recall lines characters such as Jill and Wesker in Disher's and Waugh's voices even if the lines were spoken in other games they weren't in. Kinda the same for Hiryu, except fluent English.
Hulk's ending...
Fun fact, I thought it was a zombie at first Hulk was grabbing until I took a closer look and I was like... oh crap, Nemesis!
I like Nemsis' ending. Never had a I before imagine seeing... Nake Nemmy! Yes, he in a tyrant test tube getting an adamantium treatment. He looks just like his two older brothers (Mr. X and Tyrant) when they're in the buff as well... except he's brown with tentacles.
God, I'm such a goofball...

You know when I first got the barrel that was exactly what I was thinking about. Was buying some miniature wine bottles and it arrived with the set and I was like... OH FUCK.

These look awesome. John being all sour face, and Wesker being a dick, standing on a soapbox monologuing or some shit.

Thank you, the all come completely apart so they are pretty easy to mod. I thought John looked kinda sad though. Like he was having a bad day.
