Meet Cinders.A vicious and cruel woman by nature, she had always aspired to be loved by all. Her nature made this almost impossible as she was never able to achieve the power that she had dreamed of. Until of course accidentally, she was made aware of the saints. A distant relative was married to a young woman who was able to control the element of fire. The lore was told to the all too eager Cinders and determined to find out for herself if this would make her existence be that what she seemed to feel was missing. Slaying the young bride and drinking her blood, Cinders could feel the fire running through her veins.
But she was weak. And the fire was too powerful, it burned her skin and her beautiful face of which she had been so very proud of. Her body was not strong enough to handle the elemental flames and she was able to keep the flames partially under control only after a long period of time. The most bitter of all the sinners, her rage only intensifies her power and as such she is a very dangerous foe.

Violent!
Violent woman and violent drawing. The burned side is definitely the coolest (no pun intended) and I really like the shading on the dress.

ooh this looks awesome!!! Her burnt skin looks so nice and crispy and just the right texture!!! Very nice supernovaish flames too! I would suggest a bit more transition between her normal and flamey side though - just something that flows a bit more together instead of such a sudden stop.

One half of her body is still so beautiful. Even though I don't know what TBOS is but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her. The skin effects have turned out great, it looks super realistic. And her hair and dress... could you draw her again in her human form? Would that be possible? (Now I came up with something.
Of course I like the burnt part as well. It's awesome you produce such macabre art, definitely my taste.

Oh TBOS is The Blood Of The Saints which is an original project that myself and *weskerian are working on. Am designing the characters just now and then later on we will write the story together. Of course milady, anything for you

Actually I learned aaaaaaaaaaages ago that the sponge tool does the most amazing burns. Like do the shading for the area first and then use the sponge several times and it gets that effect. Am hoping to have up a wild variety of characters though for this product. Or at least have up all the main ones by October 
She'll likely end up being quite a spoiled aristocrat who thinks of herself as something quite special. That kind of intense deep focus on the self. The actually story takes place in the future but since the sinners live many ages, they tend to be from all time periods. But I'll be making up a proper bio sheet soon for everyone.

I do actually like it's probably my favouruite thing to draw and I've always been quite fixated about inner ugliness manifesting itself on the outside too. Probably because if I look at someone I like I can't help but notice how pretty they are. And vice versa. But even some of my first pictures on the site were filled with violence soooo it's quite clear have always had a fascination with the macabre.

Which are at polar ends of the spectrum but it's good cause I also get mad requests for people (yes am looking at you.) That keep me sharp and drawing different things as well which is always good practice.

The fire, exquisite; the dress, beautiful; the fire in the eyes, an excellent touch. Absolutely fantastic as always. And its good to see the TBOS cast gradually coming to life more and more.

The dress was totally a mistake though but I did like how it turned out in the end. Hey still got to colour Orchid and the baker and the apocothary as well, so plenty to be on with. Then again you would know cause you inked them for me.

Yeah, I remember actually, because it started off blue. I suppose it could be a more translucent dress that reflects the fire of her skin underneath, because her skin's totally burning up underneath.
I'll look forward to seeing the others brought to life actually. Can't wait to see what you put up for the TBOS contest actually, like, will be good to see what I can be doing for it. Considering that its our baby, will enjoy having an opportunity to do something for it. Got any ideas for what you want to do? Maybe lay out the different houses and then for the contest have people draw two Saints from different houses duking it out? And let people pick which characters they would prefer to do for it. I like that idea, but its up to you.

Her story is really good, it reminds me of an inverse Cinderella story, if that makes sense?
