-Brindleface from Warrior cats first arc-Lineart took close to 8 hours to complete, so I'd love to get some feedback, all comments and faves are appriciated!~
One of my favourite characters, she's just so awesome as a mother and a warrior. And brave one too, and she gets so little respect, nobody remembers that without her there wouldn't be Ashfur that almost everyone either loves/hates so dearly!

Also, I uses CWON style for this, expect the shading. What would you say if you'd see a serie/film with style like this?

Yes, you have a fair point here. Simple style in animation is better, than something this detailed.
Thought I've been thinking that simplifying this a bit, like taking away all of the extra fur if were not talking about a longhaired cat, and such details. Me and my partner have actually made a couple of concept sketches for style that's a bit more simple, but still looks realistic like this. I think I'll be trying to do a quick walk cycle or such with this style, and see how it would work with animation itself.
And if we are indeed taking a style like this for the serie, the facial features will not be showing. No way I'll be drawing such small and detailed things to animation, unless it's an actual must to the character (like for old cats, if you make the facials more visible, they look kinda older)

Yeah, we'll just have to test out all kinds of styles~
We'll be using photoshop, but were still tempting on what program we'll use to put it all together

I totally imagined Brindleface to be a light toffy brown with dark brown stripes. I guess not. Yes very nice though.

Everyone imagines them different, that's what's awesome about books like Warriors~
But yeah, I personally imagine her as a grey dappled she-cat with shortish hair and sleek, dark green eyes~

Wow, I never imagined Brindleface in this face. I always thought she was a pretty brown tabby. I never knew she was a pretty gray tabby. (My memory is foggy on the first series. That's why.) I love how her eyes glow. You drew Bridleface perfectly, though.
Yeah, I hate how little respect this awesome character gets. She's one of my favorite's as well.

Well she was described as a grey motted she-cat, and since she gave birth to two beatuiful little grey kittens, I thought she was a beautiful grey cat~ but she could be a pretty brown cat too!
