I watched the Direct TV "please wait while your system checks itself, this may take a few minutes. Step 1 of 2" screen for about 45 minutes before my dad came in and asked what was wrong with the tv. Then we both realized the cable box wasn't even on... HOW WAS MY TV DISPLAYING A MESSAGE THEN!?!?
AND THEN WE DISCONNECTED THE WHOLE BOX AND WE HAD TO WATCH THE REAL SETUP PROCESS!
