Nobody on dA will EVER know how much pride radiates from me at this current moment. This is the coolest, most badass thing I have EVER drawn. Not to mention the endless amount of patience it took for me to draw every single tiny itty-bitty detail on this. (note: the armor was a pain in the ass but I love it none the less).

The ref pic: img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20… Of course I made a few changes in order to suit Lucario's body. I also tried out 9StraightXEdge3 's style of Lucario legs without the 'pants'. It actually looks pretty good. Especially on a hot bod like that.

It kinda looks like he's wearing boots...

There's a hidden cameo in this too. Squint, maybe you'll find it. It might take a while and if you still can't find it note me. I'll give you a hint.

I'd let this Lucario guard my heart castle anytime.

EDIT: After deep thought and inspiration for a backstory, this is now an OC of mine. His name is Mercury.

Mercury's early history is shrouded in mystery up to the point of when he could recall the first time his best friend Akan the Zoroark (Another OC). The two were the same age and were in the same situation. Mercury was born with pristine, liquid-silver fur. An oddity among Lucario's and Riolu's. Not only that but he bore no accents either. He was completely silver. He appeared to look nothing like the Riolu species due to his lack of markings. Akan was born with violet eyes. Everything else about him was normal. Unfortunately, they were abandoned due to lack of resources in order to keep them alive. So to quicken their demise and lessen the heartache, their parents disowned each of them and moved on to richer parts where prey was plentiful and shelter was abundant, never looking back. But by a sheer stroke of luck, Mercury and Akan who had recently met were then discovered by Marcus, a wandering knight. Taking pity upon the two half-starved babies, Marcus brought them to the castle and raised them. Of course, Akan reached evolution first and Mercury was soon to follow, but not long after the queen became agitated. That was when the trouble started. Hoping to find a way to sooth the queen's fears but not disobey her orders, he sent out Mercury and Akan on a scouting mission, spying on the other Kingdoms to see what they were up to. But knowing that the Kingdoms knew of Mercury due to him participating in a recent battle, Marcus devised a plan in order for Mercury to look like other, regular Lucario. He took paint and colored Mercury's entire body to make it seem like he was just a regular, blue-furred Pokémon then sent them on their way. Along the journey, Mercury picked up armor and has been wearing it ever since. He can not speak through telepathy, rather communicating to humans with growls, grunts, groans, howls, body and facial language though he understands their words perfectly. His demeanor is normally indifferent due to mistrust at first. Mercury is endlessly faithful and loyal to those he regards as superior. He is a hard worker and enjoys being pushed passed his limits. Since he was a youngster and living with Marcus, he strives to become a top knight and defend his kingdom against all intruders. Like many knights before him, Mercury will give his life without a second thought for the safety of everyone.

Likes: Challenges, Sitrus, Lum and Oran Berries, Creativity, Long walks, Friends (Akan and Marcus), Training and Naps
