Description
The Scorpion Clan discovered an omen that told them if the Emperor continued to sit on his throne the Darkness wil consume Rokugan. So the Scorpion Clan damned themeselves for the sake of the Emerald Empire by doing a coup d'etat at Otosan Uchi, the Imperial City, and tried to murder the Emperor...Between them is Bayushi Nobane, a Scorpion himself but with friends in the Lion Clan. The Lion Clan are the guard of the Emperor, so he must fight against them.
The Scorpion is faithful to his Clan until he dies.

Another "commision" for Bayushi Nobane-san. I received more L5R cards and the Mickey comics I was looking for!
Arigatô, Nobane-san! This time his characater is in the middle of the Scorpion Coup. I'm an Scorpion myself too! Bayushi Shizu (must draw my chara sometime...) 
So, onto the pic, I did it the usual way. I looked to a book of human anathomy to do this one, one I bought the other day. Such a good book. This pose would have been too difficult without it
. He has been cut his right arm, so, usually using no-dachi, he turned into katana instead, for the no-dachi is too difficult to hold on one hand alone. I'm not too god at drawing the katana's blade yet 
That things that oozes from it is supposed to be blood. But I like specially his hair and face and the thing that his pose is actually dynamic.The title is from a L5R card that I think it fits this moment and the Scorpion Clan very well
About 7 hours, 2H and 2B lead pencil. Cotton for the soft look

Madre mia, el dibujo se sale, La pose te quedo muy dinamica, diria que meravillosamente dinamica. El sombreado es fantastico, y el nivel de detalle altisimo, si hasta el muñon te quedo bien!
Por cierto, me encantan las sandalias. Y el texto de Aramoro que vas a poner en el proximo es buenisimo... 100% escorpion, como dice Shima, los cogio a todos en bragas ... aunque no es por nada, pero Toturi se merecia eso y mas...

Esta mu bien, pero la verdad es que le saco poco provecho porque no tengo una anatomía muy realista... de todos modos quiero usarlo para dibujar hombres que les tengo mu poca practica... que dibujo casi exclusivamente mujeres. ^^u
