I think I'm going to keep this one as a sketch. I may do a similar one as a painting later on tho - I like the idea.

Things are going so well! I'm about to finish the illustrations for my most recent book, and it will be getting published in June. And life is just awesome right now. How are things going for you and yours?

We are doing okay. The weather is up and down and annoying. LOL The flock of birds we have are growing and doing well. I'd like to do some watercolors of them...but the chickens and guineas all look so awkward right now because they are not fully grown and do not have all of their adult feather colors in. I am happy to have done a few art pictures and even happier to see a big improvement in my drawing skills...I should post some before and after pics'..LOL

I'm working with a lady who is self publishing through Thomas Nelson. It's been fun so far, and a really good learning experience
I love chickens! They are a lot of fun to watch, though I've never kept them before. And I've really enjoying seeing your work - you should do one of those every-few-years art memes.
