Description
I am graffiti on a wallSome people admired me
They said I was a work of art
I was a colorful design
making a statement in this world
I hold a hidden message
Only the artist understands
Graffiti is an art
But some people cant see it
They think it is a mess
So they critisize me
Point out that I'm a disgrace
And with out taking one second
To try to understand
They painted over me
In black and white
With what they think I should be

dude thanks for the poem. and i stand with ya bud cuz i been written over,talked over, yelled over and ya know what i did? i got my voice from rap and it became my anthem to never get blown away and always fight to be seen heard and respected. so i developed a voice i got my poetic side learnt how to ryhme learnt to creat images in the brain with my words alone i could move an army to march on and capture any land or i could become a voice of reason a revered figure of advice giving proportions to blow away violence with peace coming in strong and not fading. just find your voice man and shout to the world.

I love this. I dont paint but i draw graffiti. Im hoping someday to be able to go out & paint without it being illegal.

WOW. that is really deep. I LOVE IT!!!. i also had trouble with my fait. but now i see. and i do a lot of graffiti and to see it painted over really is disappointing becuz i put time in effort into it and to have some one look down on my work and paint over it in off-white.

It was fun putting it up.
I even put it as a quot with *ShallowEndings under it.
It coated an entire wall, and I put a kid with a hoodie holding up a pencil, as if writing it on the wall. And It was totally cool.
I'm gonna hate when the city makes me clean it off. They caught me doing another wall. The cops arrived as I was finishing up:
"You almost done with that?" said the Cop (I think his name is Sgt. Constable)
I sighed.
"Almost," I said, "You gonna let me finish it?"
The guy caugh.
"You might as well," he said. "So you are The Wolf?"
I pulled out a board from my backpack and used it to keep the paint from dripping onto the back colors.
"Yep. You finally caught me, huh?"
I finished up and everything. But it made me realise that your poem... It's true. Even the people who's job is to arrest me, they enjoy the writing on the walls.
Well, I hope they let me take a picture of it before they make me go over it. I'm on house confinement now, so I can't leave the house.
But, trust me. It takes up the length of an allyway. In black on White.
A white hoodied girl holding a Picture writing the last line down, sitting down.
I had to "Clean Up" my other shit too. It hurt me with every roll of the paint roller. I wasn't suffering the work. Painting is my profession. It was the covering up total walls of Beauty. And I have to spend my summer doing it. Over and Over. My paintings, gone.
I'll sketch it out like it was. I can hope it looks as good.
