Description During an excursion in my uncle's snowplow (truck), I noticed this lonely, abandoned shack and just had to capture the moment as the sun was setting in the background.

I just love shots with sky in them. This house looks so sad :\ It's alone and it looks a little rundown...Where did you find it? I bet if it got fixed up it'd be quite cozy, though. And, er...is that sand or snow?

This is an abandoned farm house near my grandparents' place. This was taken two winters ago, so that would be snow on the ground.

I had originaly (last year) posted it un-cropped, but following the advice of a few, I decided to crop it and i like it much better like this. You're not missing much from the crop. Thanks for the comment!

Can't explain it... and second it might of been just that day. But i don't know like the size of it and the light behind it, blah i have no idea. It's a good shot.

What makes this so successful is the way you cropped it. Also the slight orange behind the barn really sets it off. I really like this one. Well done.

The original version had two shacks in it and it just didn't seem right. I cropped it and came up with this result and was thrilled. I'm really glad you like it!
