Oh wow, another original character, how original of you.

So yeah, another OC goes into the bucket. This time, one I made for an RP group over yonder. Not really sure if it's good enough to get in but I can hope right lmao.

The concept I was trying to go for was a girl fighting against her nature. Not sure how well that's communicated though, I tried to incorporate it by having her cover up her dark blue skin-tight vest thing with a flowing white robe and jewelry, but eh.

So, background story. The setting's fantasy with monsters and ink magic and shit. The gist of it is that her father was a soldier that died in the field of duty protecting a village from monster attacks. Something something, family drama, feels a slight sense of animosity towards her father, "Why did he choose saving some random strangers instead of being there for his family" and all that jazz. Knowing firsthand how much it hurts to lose someone, when she gets selected to follow in her father's footsteps, she came into it determined to put herself and her safety above all else. You know, to make sure no one she cares about has to feel what she felt. Internal conflict comes from the fact that she's just a naturally kind and empathetic person.

Not the most original thing in the world, but I like it.
