Soo…. I did the thing.
late nights talking about Silmarillion and bands resulted in drawing Paul Allender (ex-Cradle of Filth, White Empress) as Melkor from Silmarillion. I’m not even mad, it turned out GREAT.
I read Silmarillion when I was 9... Re-read it many times and it's still my fav book.

It’s a little revisionist. Unless just after the balrogs rescue him from ungoliant, when would he so be? I don’t object to it, but don’t believe it. At least it isnt a slavish movie reproduction. Nice work, but misses the mark for me.

Mixed feelings. I like the art but the picture is sort of a satirical comment double-edged Maybe showing the pathos behind evil, or the weakness and ennui of darkness.
