Elonia is covered with vast plains and flora found there has adapted to winds that draw the few reliefs of this land. But if the air seems elusive to you, do not doubt its strength as he could carry you away.

Third part out of seven! We're getting there. To be honest I was scared of getting into Elonia because Aquilion is the deity with the least discernable personnality from his land's appearance. All that we know is that he's elusive, strong, and he's fucken wimdy. So here's how we went about the design!

The design:
So obviously we had to go with birds, because wind, air, all that. But we had also agreed beforehand to make him b u f f. But that couldn't be done aesthetically so we just made him taaaaall instead, and we were inspired by quetzalcoatls and other depiction of long fragons! (Namely Grizius from DQ IX, rip you drunk dead dragon you). The palette is ripped off straight from his Land's palette (mostly pale pinks and purples) and we added those fabulous rainbow accents to still make him stand out and also because we could. Other than that, I'd say he's less thought through than the other designs so far, his really came down to just feeling what design would look good for him. I guess that fits with his vibe.
Eye is bright pink as a c̶a̶l̶l̶o̶u̶t̶ reference to the Elonia's Land Card's color which is... a meme in GW's community lmao

About Aquilion:
Ok our headcanons. Basically, he's the chill, vaguely communist older brother of the deities. Probably an artist. I like to think he paints, writes poems, and sings VERY LOUDLY THROUGHOUGHT THE ENTIRE LAND. He causes problems but not on purpose, he's just not agile on land with his big ol penguin feet- he was made to fly my guys. He needs freeeeeeeedom. He's about big enough to get wrapped around Elyelle's neck like a scarf (There was a banana for scale but i removed it, unfortunately). I also like to imagine his body is stretchy and optimal for hugs with the little siblings (i.e: Chamsin and maybe Atalia, depending on how she turns out).
