Description Clouds covering the city of Boise. Normally there is far too much light pollution coming from the city for the stars to be visible in night photos. Off and on all winter we've had inversions coming through, holding all the clouds down in the valley. From in the Valley all you see is fog and smog. From higher up the mountains surrounding the Boise valley its a different story.
