yah, alot of people don't considering it's been so many years. It's been about a decade or me. The fact I still remember what Pokemon I picked first is amazing enough.

I loved my bulbasaur too. The only real problem was when I had to fight Blane and I was forced to swap it out with another Poke'mon.

That's awesome. Me, I was always type cautious with my Poke'mon. It's a very bold move to use type disadvantages.

Yeah thatΒ΄s true too. But you can catch up the disadvantage with the level. But for sure to mess up with a lv100 Charizard with a Venusaur isnΒ΄t that clever.

true. That's why I had my Venusaur learn strength instead of cut. Since a Charizard is heavy, it's a good move. Of course, it's also good to have x speed to make sure Venusaur moves first.

Solarbeam takes too long. For me, I just taught Cut to a Bellsprout and then a Persian. Never thought to use bodyslam much because half the time, I would run into poke'mon who knew moves like sand attack. It wasn't until I got Poke'mon yellow that I taught a Venusaur cut.

Yeah thatΒ΄s the maireason why I hardly use Solarbeam. Frenzy Flower is MUCH better for me.

yeah. Downside, like hyperbeam, Venusaur has to recharge. Good side, buttload of damage that would cause the opponent to faint anyway.

Yep and when the opponent fained venusaur may not recharge when you change the Pokemons.
Solarbeam is much more risky.

yeah. Looking back, the graphics for some of the moves were cheesy, weren't they?

You must've really loved your Venusaur. Mine is actually at level 100, even my Charizard and Blastoise.

I did. It was my first because my cousin used Charmander and my brother used Squirtle. I never regreted my choice.
