Description
A while back, ReyArt made some Mega Man inspired sprites of Street Fighter 4 characters. I thought it would be fun to design some from Mortal Kombat. Sprites are brought to life by Perler and Hama beads. Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage, Sonya Blade, Scorpion, Kano, Raiden, Liu Kang, Reptile, Goro and Shang Tsung.Related content

You know, this could be done like they did Street Fighter X Mega Man...
8 enemies - Scorpion, Sub Zero, Reptile, Johnny Cage, Liu Kang, Sonya, Kano, and Raiden, who give you Spear, Ice Blast (chargeable, bigger projectile), Acid Ball, Shadow Ball (fires in an arc, hold up to fire high), Fire Punch (chargeable, fires further), Energy Rings, Knife Throw, and Thunder Blast, respectively.
Mini-bosses - Goro and Shang Tsung
Final boss - Shao Kahn
Hidden bosses - Smoke, Jade, and Noob Saibot.

This is a good idea and I wouldn't be surprised if someone did it eventually. Btw, if someone wanted to use these sprites as a template to design the characters for the game, I don't mind. Although I've seen a few better ones out there.
