I'll see if I can remember the colours...
all the colours will be listed from darkest to lightest
hair: hama burgundy, perler brown, hama light brown, perler yellow, perler pastel yellow
pants: hama blue, perler light blue, perler pastel blue
boots: hama burgundy, perler brown, hama reddish orange, hama light brown, hama teddybear brown
gloves: perler dark grey, perler grey, perler toothpaste, nabbi light grey
*since the picture was taken, I changed the colour of his right hand glove from being kind of blue to the grey colour scheme of his left hand.
*for the sword I think I used about every blue I have: perler periwinkle blue, hama turquoise, perler light blue, perler dark blue, nabbi light blue.
skin: hama burgundy, hama light brown, hama flesh, perler peach, perler cream

Did you make it on one gigantic sheet of bead-holding plastic, or did you do it in sections?

It's made on pegboards that interlock. Each board is 29x29. I think I did it in two sections with a little bit spliced in later to connect them. It was a big project! 3 or 4 days to make.

But wow, that's dedicated. The biggest thing I've made is an Ultima Weapon, which was probably 15x6.
Also, I followed the name on here, to the guy you got the sprite from; he doesn't have it up anymore, it seem, do you know if he has a site where it still is?

I can't even begin to imagine how many buckets you'd need to buy to get that many black beads. In my experience, a 4000 bead bucket yields roughly 17 black beads.

Haha, sorting sucks! My last order I got 48,000 black beads. Ordering in bulk online is the way to go. But mixed buckets are good for emergencies.

Ha, to take the picture, yes. It's still warm from the iron! I couldn't wait. In the end, I'll mount it on a painted canvas. There's a few beads I need to fix and I want to change the colour of the fingers on his sword hand before I do mount it, but like I said, I couldn't wait!
