Description I just wanted to try out my new pen for outlines.
And I felt like drawing Shroomish I love it, Shroomish has such a cool expression xD

I love the lighting on this! Very soft and ethereal. :3 The whole picture's got a real storybook sort of feel to it, with the watercoloured cuteness and gnarled trees. Also, the grumpy shroomish by the mushroom is totally adorable. XD

Really? Do you mean Breloom's proportions, or others? I mean, I often do proportions a bit different, for example the pokemon's heads are often to big, in my opinion. So I draw them smaller ^^ How far do you think this proportions are wrong?

I don't think you need to do anything for Senret and the Shroomish. But I noticed that the Breloom and Furret are a bit wonky.
I don't know if you're the kind of person who loathes going back to edit a drawing or not, so I'm not going to put any detail in: Breloom's hat-thing is a little too small (maybe if you made it bigger, it would take up empty space and add more of the perspective effect?), and it's hands/arms could be tucked in a little bit more, perhaps? But it's fine, anyway. Furret has something to it that I can't describe, but I wouldn't recommend fixing it. :/

If you were looking more to the 'cute' factor, you could change the proportions around so that they appear more 'adorable'.
When I think of Pokemon, I think of adorable little animals. You did a great job showing off what looks to be like an everyday sort of walk in the forest. It's nice to see them without trainers. ^_^

Thank you very much for your constructive critic! I will not edit the picture anymore, but I see, what you mean. Just a word about the proportions: I don't like drawing bigger heads. Even when I try, I never make it So I've given up trying and I'm satisfied with the proportions I give my pokemon.

Ah I see. In drawing, you should always aim for the things you have the most trouble on. Like I'm bad at lighting, but I'm trying to improve myself.

I second all of the previous comments about this picture being cute, especially any which mention the stumbling Shroomish, the Sentret, and the Furret. Cuteness is extremely abundant here, and I love the art style.

It's definitely a tragedy that not all people (myself included) are able to give more constructive comments that can serve to better the artist. That being said, though, I would rather know that people enjoy my work than have those people be completely silent -- it motivates me.

And really, what is there to say about this piece? Every detail is cute! I'm not normally a fan of Shroomish or Breloom (I came across this piece via a Furret club), but this picture really made me appreciate them, and I do believe the softness of the drawing style plays a role in that. Take that as you will. o.o

I often want to write more constructive comments, but mostly I don't know how to say all these things in English... I could express it in German, but my English is too bad for it ._. Anyway, I try to write at least more than a single "Cuuuuuuuuuuuuuute!!!!!" ^^

I always liked Mew because it reminds me of a cat we used to have that sounded like it was saying 'Mew' every time it meowed, and Growlithe/Arcanine because I love tigers. I like the new ones they're coming out with but not nearly as much as Growlithe and Arcanine. x3

I used a normal water colour pad. The edges are sized, so the paper don't flute after drying ^^ I would like to give you the link, but I can't find my pad on the internet... o.o Maybe it's only selled in Austria, I don't know...

I like all the little Shroomish, especially the worried expression on the one. I also love how joyful the Sentret and Furret seem to be. The Breloom looks very curious here, as if looking around at its beautiful surroundings. Keep up the great work, Shandria.

Danke Ja, die viele RΓΌckmeldung wundert mich auch... gerade, weil ich es zeichnerisch nicht sooo toll finde. Ich habs mir jedenfalls viel schΓΆner vorgestellt und wiedermal nicht so umsetzen kΓΆnnen, wie ich es mir gedacht habe.
Aber gut, ich will mal nicht meckern und freu mich, dass das Bild so vielen gefΓ€llt
