Oh the neodogs, super intelligent talking dogs used to fight giant alien bugs. And the writer only ever mentions them in passing once or twice, instead focusing on his long, boring philosophical/policital lectures. This is way books aren't always better than movies, people!
Do wish the movies would have eventually given the Neodogs their moment, maybe if they make another CGI one. We can dream.

If you haven't checked it out from a canonical comic book read, there is one that they use the neodogs most efficiently (and a power suit too!)
I really hope to see the skinnies in the upcoming movies (either the reboot or the series or a possible third CGI movie)
