Description Cant emphasize how much you have to prepare for a shoot.. this one caught me with my pants down.. didn't have enough time to get ready for it!

Fireworks are a pain to take a photograph of. You have to time everything right. Looks like this turned out fantastic despite not having enough time to get C:

I do love the programmable user defined presets on my D7000.. If I'd not taken the time to set those up, i'd have been in trouble.. Didn't go down early enough to scout out a good place.. Had no time to adjust any settings.. used bulb mode and held the shutter open (blurred some nice shots).. It is painful but i'm going to keep at it.. July is right around the corner lol!

May be painful but it was sure worth it my camera doesn't have any cool settings just a boring old firework setting which doesn't help C:

Yeah i'd never used them before but thought it might be a good ideal and thankfully it was! Yeah i look at the setting to see what they are on the presets but rarely use them.. sometimes they work, sometimes they dont work worth a flip... The video i watched (yup, youtube certified in many things hehe) said the D7000 was one of the few if not the only ones that has a dial selector for two pre-defined user setups.. i LIKE it.. going to set them up for landscape stuff and one for portraits only after i do the snow bridge thing in Canada..
