I don't ask this often, if ever, but FULL VIEW PLX `A`Mmkay, idgaf about the BG. it's 4 in the morning and I'm just gonna go to sleep feeling satisfied with the colours.
ALSO WHY did Sega have to trash Tikal, for god's sake, she was and still is my all time fave Sonic character. EVERYBODY FORGOT ABOUT HER >:u

I don't think it's so much as Sega forgot Tikal, as she really has nothing to do with the games nowadays.
I'm surprised they brought back Knuckles for games past Heroes considering how useless he was in some of the newer games, much less Tikal.
She needs to be relevant, and she hasn't been relevant in a game past Adventure 2. She could've been brought back for Sonic Generations, though. One of the many missed opportunities in that game (and it's a shame too because it's so goooooooooooood.)

Tikal is tied with Amy as being my favorite Sonic character (though for very different reasons). It is a shame that she hasn't appeared much since Sonic Adventure, because her spiritual, uplifting and nurturing personality would be a much-needed positive influence on the franchise.

Oh Tikal! She amazing!She's been my favorite since the first moment I saw her.
I read that you anticipated the flashbacks! I did too! I replayed the game like 5 times over just to see the "past"! Tikal is the most amazing character ever and I dearly want to see her return. But foolish me, I always waited for a new game to come out, hoping Tikal would make her triumphant return... but she never did. Why Sega why!?!
Love the picture! The compositiona and colors are amazing and it really captures how I see Tikal. Keep up the good work!

Oh trust me, I didn't forget her. I first saw Tikal when I got Sonic Adventure at its release for the Dreamcast and loved everything about it. Especially Tikal caught my attention with her unique personality, backgroundstory and design. She's just too damn cute. 
So yeah, I'm a hardcore Tikal fan for maaany years and I still don't give up to mention her on Sega polls.

I ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS used to anticipate the part in the game where the character would have a flashback. The only reason I actually bought a Gamecube when I was little was so that I could play as her in SA2

Yeah, I know of the cube remake. They made every character playable from the start, on the dreamcast you had to unlock them with getting A-ranks with every character on every mission. That was one hell of an accomplishment after I was done.
The game was also much more strict with giving good marks, so they toned it down for the cube version.
I was very pleased to find Tikal as a playable character, sadly the dreamcast version had no voices for her.
Sega totally needs to bring her back, along with the Master Emerald. I also demand more echidna backgroundstory, especially on Knuckles OUTSIDE the Sonic Chronicles games!
