.....AT LEAST IT'S SOMETHING, ALRIGHT??!This isn't the best sketch I've ever done but that's probably because I've neglected drawing for a good long time now. I'd totally upload scans out of my sketchbook, but, um, yeah.
DA would NOT like scans out of my sketchbook on their website.
This might be a small part of a finished picture. Or not. I am IN LOVE with the Sherlock Holmes movie. Probably because I haven't seen a good mystery in a while. And as a 6th grader I was grinding away at a Sherlock Holmes novel. I didn't understand a single word except for "damn," "Sherlock," and "Holmes" (and Watson) but it was still epic. Though I got an F on the literary test.
Oh- one more thing. Slowly but surely I am in the process of sketching every single Pokemon. I have drawn like 248/250ish so far. When done, EXPECT A SUPREMEZEUSTHUNDERFILE
How many are there, like 492? FFFFFF-
I got a DSi for Xmas as well as Pokemon Platinum, so don't expect me to focus on anything BUT that.

Well, I like what I can see of it, anyway. It's tough to do a cartoon version of a live-action character: walking a fine line between making it look like the original actor, and simplified enough to be interesting and expressive.

Oh it's so true; I actually underestimated how hard it would be and this took me a couple of tries before I got a kinda-similar sketch. I think I only uploaded this because of how proud I was to actually make one close enough, haha.

[~Nyu~]Who is Sherlock Holmes? XP Congratulations on receiving a DSi and pokemon platinum; I don't like the front cover of platinum because it has some kind of creepy bug on it. Also are you drawing the pokemon as humans or their pokemon animal-related/not selves?

Sherlock Holmes is... ummm. He's a book character from a mystery series set in the 18th/19th century, I think. There's a movie out now of that series, and it's like one of my favourite movies now.. haha.
I love Platinum but the nasty bug pokemon-thing is creeping me out too. I decided not to use it.
I'm drawing the pokemon as they are in the game. The human forms (gijinkas I think they're called) don't give me any practice on drawing animals.
