How do you make this image? Does it come together as you draw it or do you have an image in your mind and draw that? I want to have more of this style in my work but without copying other people, but taking inspiration from them, I think it is beautiful.

Think as little as possible,
have an eye for the overal feel of the composition,,
balance light and dark...feel it..
try to create form before you create, characters,
if your happy with the form, youl end up happy with the characters i think...
i would spend a lot of time creating textures and then look for faces in them.. everyone has a different subconcious so the faces we see in random shapes are unique..
but ones like this i do know will be characters, but i dont know what,,, it comes later in the process...
but i would start experimenting like that...
