Description A borzoi asks a harpy for directions -

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays! Couldn't sleep; so I painted a pic C:
About 3 hours in CS3 - random reference pics were used for both, but mostly for fur direction etc

Inspired by this beautiful piece here ; i loved the isolation and overcast fog is my favorite weather

This is so awesome! For a (not so) simple picture whose background shows no trace of complexity, you've got to praise the huge amounf of detail that went into the characters and scenario! Absolutey beautiful!

Exquisite coloring. I'm still learning how to even marginally function in photoshop CS2, and it is SLOOOOOW GOWIN'. But I'm getting there. Your art is fantastic, and very expressive.

I am lost for words, I keep staring at this piece, and it just calls to me like nobody's business. Wooooooow. They have so much emotion and character, the reflection on the water, the everything! You did this quite amazingly. ;; I want to accomplish something like this some day..

I love this image. And the whole asking for directions things just adds to the enigmatic background. How could anyone know where to go in that mist??? Obviously the eagle does. Totally epic. Love this image so much! Not because of the borzoi ( ) But, it's just an overall pleasing image to look at. Not too much detail (BG wise - the characters have a ton of detail) but the contrast between the simple BG and the characters is just epic.
