Hmm - how DO you do that effect that makes it look like thin watercolor? Like the trees and bg's and such. It's interesting and very nice.

It's stupid easy XD You flat color it, take a fluffy airbrush and erase it into a gradient, then overlay the shit outta like three to five textures XD I usually leave a tiny bit of saturation of a dark red or blue in my textures, so all my colorwork gets evenly photo filtered without me having to do anything C:

NICE. Stupid easy and filters and color overlay layers are the best. I usually suck at lighting, so I add a color layer over some of my pieces to blend it with the light. Works every time...ehehehehhhh....
Can you make your own texture with photoshop?? I've been using the presets, but, really, I'd like just a plain, slightly stained and yellowed crinkly paper. My CS2 does not like to comply with my wishes...

aww dude. You'll love this. Go to LostandTaken.com [link] They have AMAZING and HUGE free textures. I have folders of that stuff. I mostly use watercolor and stained paper textures. I just lower the contrast and darken them if I need to. C: Usually I'll end up grouping all of the textures together so I can turn it on and off easily. When I work on actual painting sometimes I'll eyedropper tool the colors with texture over them, resulting in a more saturated color than I would have gotten if the textures were off. Hope that makes sense XD

No problem C; I actually do NOT know. Umm maybe something to do with your browser? I use Firefox, but I have that problem on the lab computers. It HATES DA and texture sites.
