Description Oil rub, 9x12
Strathmore 500 3 ply coldpress

An oil rub, part of four:

In case you never heard of it: oil rub is where you draw a finished B&W piece, spray fix it, then rub oil paint over it with a paper towel or rag. Then, while it's still wet, you use a kneaded eraser to pull out the highlights and then you add color with light colored pencil 'glazes'.

Super fun technique, so I might be experimenting with it later

Reference is from an extremely famous photographer. I'll go scrounge up his name and add it when i find it

I might make a tutorial process thing, I've heard that most schools don't teach it, and I'd like to have it archived for myself just in case I forget lol

-And the pic I used was of paint hitting her mouth; I still can't remember the name of the guy, but he's a big deal XD

Astounding as always. Seems like you're just as talented with traditional as you are with digital, so kudos on that
