Nice reprezentation ! This simple designed tank was a good killer in the world war 2
Try render it in to a battlefield scene !

That is bloody beautiful! The welds and texturing look amazing.

This is actually exactly what I need to complete a project I've been working on -this would make a perfect 'companion' to go w/ my Russian heavy mech design.
Any chance you'd like to collaborate w/ and I on this? [link]
Please feel free to tell me to bugger off if not interested.

Great to hear! I'm in the process of rendering a 3/4 view illustration of this Russian heavy: [link]
Basically, I would just love to have a T-34/85 or two to accompany him in the background and give a sense of scale. (Like to show all my WWII mechs w/ a 'hunting partner').
Tom has rendered some great Axis tanks for me, as of yet, there are no Russian tanks in our 3D resources folder.

What would rock my socks is another render of this exact same model, done in a slightly different perspective, to match the mech's 3/4 pose. A flat image would be fine.
Possibly re-colored in Russian dreary brown? Otherwise easy for me to tweak in photoshop. I could paint other details as well, like number decals and such.

If anything, your T-34/85 will probably steal the show... But it's so very pretty I had to ask.

Looking very good! Now it needs some weathering and damage

So you can't unwrap it?

i would have to export it to max or use some other unwrapping tool (there are some available for sketchup) but it can't be done within sketchup.

yeah, i know. i could kinda paint the flat surfaces but wouldn't be able to unwrap the subdivided mesh of the turret.
