Description
This was actually the second drawing I did of my anthro-cat character, Mamet. I pulled this off of my Side7 archive where Mamet No. 1 resides. I didn't get that one for DA because it isn't very good, IMHO. I also don't remember when I did it and it has my old website URL on there...the site is now inactive.If I do remember correctly, this was drawn on paper and colored using both Photoshop and Paint Shop Pro.

Cat girls are unique and interesting and visually shares a sense of agile mobility, in every aspect of life. I happen to have this gift of interpretation in which I can read art like a driver can read a stop sign. It's a way for me to be able to connect with artist and also appreciate art more in depth. Well here goes...
The Egyptian outfit certainly suggest that she is of royalty. From her pose, and her expression, it may seem as though she is concentrating and may suggest that she posses some kind of mental power. The way that she is leaning on the rock may suggest also how it can be exhausting especially when she's giving her all. And still in another interpretation, it could very well be a visual sentiment of her trying to piece a puzzling situation together. Like she is thinking out loud to herself, "Come on girl get it together, you can do this, you have what it takes." Her upraised tail may mean that she is anxious to take action, but before her, lies many obstacles in which she needs to tackle before getting from point A to point B. Overall it's a cool pic.

There was suppose to be a flash where her finger is pointing...it was something sort of like a type of meditation. But if I remember correctly, Photoshop crashed at that point...
