Because in my first poll, Marnie got second place to Mt. Lady, I did Marnie next. A barracuda mermaid, she’s quite the force to be reckoned with.

Barracuda mermaids are very predatory, voraciously preying on most other mermaids, with shark mermaids and grouper mermaids being their usual main predators. They are capable of incredible bursts of speed, and can easily catch up to prey before pouncing and swallowing them whole. Though they can easily stomach prey as large as themselves, they prefer smaller, schooling prey.

They are attracted to shiny objects, and will often collect them from humans, either willingly or by force. If one desires to enter the water where these mermaids often dwell, usually at coral reefs, it is advisable not to wear anything they might want, as a few people have been eaten by large barracuda mermaids who wanted their jewelry.

Marnie is a large barracuda mermaid. Her prized possession is her electric rock guitar. Sometimes she’ll challenge others to a rock contest, only to eat them when she wins.
