This 2005 Audi R8 LMP has 90 degree V8 twin turbo, 3596 cc / 2194 cu in. This Le Mans has the power of 520 bhp / 388 kw and the torque of 700 nm / 516 ft lbs. The Audi R8 LMP won the 12 hours of Sebring in 2001, 2002, 2004, and 2005. As a result, The R8 won the American Le Mans Series Championship six times in the row.

The GoaT. Nothing more needs to be said about the car. Sure I may have some recency bias but I don't believe any other model from the past (and certainly not the present) can come close to matching the R8's entries in the record books.

Hey Dan, thanks. I was late to buy my ticket for the Motorsports Reunion. Had to pay a premium because I waited too long, got busy or something. Anyway, I was disappointed to see that the administration has added lots of new safety fencing along three stretches of track - two of them being prime shooting space for those of us who do not have press credentials. Fortunately, I still have a couple of places available to me but I'm surely going to be limited to usable space going forward.

Damn... that's a bit crap. At least there are still a few good spots for you to shoot. It's such a picturesque circuit that to lose some places shouldn't be too painful, but it always hurts regardless. Been there, suffered that at many a track over the years...
