Description An artwork based on a story I wrote of the same name: www.deviantart.com/sharkibee/a…

Basically, a group of orphaned and enslaved children are freed and adopted by many mythical serpents or snakes who were enslaved as well. When they reach a hidden magical paradise under the earth, the serpents receive abilities that we know them by and the human children receive these abilities as well.

The first one depicts what I would like to call chaos serpents because Apophis from Egyptian mythology is the embodiment of chaos. They and their human children are seen chaotically dancing in the air or something.

The second one depicts gigantic water serpents like Jörmungandr from Norse mythology or any other mythical sea serpent. They and their children are seen swimming in an ocean.

The third one depicts the feathered serpents like Quetzalcoatl from Aztec mythology. They and their children are seen flying in the air.

The fourth one depicts other random mythical serpents and their children having physical or magical abilities, even the weird ones. The Hydra where if you cut off one head, two more grow in its place, the Ouroboros which circles itself and eats its own tail and is more of a symbol than a mythical creature but wanted to include it here anyway, the Amphisbaena where it has a head on each end (reminds me of CatDog), the Basilisk where if you look into its eyes you die, the Rainbow Serpent where as it's names suggests is rainbow colored, and the Cerastes where it has ram-like horns. (The one child next to the Ouroboros I originally had the idea of having his feet in his mouth, but I thought that was WAY too weird for my taste so I left that bit out.)

The fifth and last one is in the middle of this artwork and it depicts the main character of my story, Madalyn the feathered serpent, and her adopted human child, Jake.
