it actually is a bit relaxing. as someone who gets anxious often, the repetitive motions can be rather calming.
my favorite part though is when you get into a groove, space out for awhile, come back to earth, and your just like, "where daheck did this come from?"

I don't know if I'm overthinking your message in these two paintings with the black and red heartstrings, but I really see the black one as the state of a confused young person with their hearts feelings torn and all messy, and the red one as the same person but here matured and calmer and has come a long way in sorting out and managing her hearts feelings. It means a lot to me, and I also hope to start knitting again soon.

It's really relaxing. Gives your hands something to do if you're anxious. Something to do while you watch a movie or listen to music. Knitting is perfect for teaching patience as well and you get a warm scarf out of it for the winter. Win win

Oh, it's very relaxing, once you get past initial frustrations of tangling threads and awkward fingers. One of the best relaxing methods, because it works on both anger and sadness, and is also productive in a practical manner. ouo

Aw. Well, it's an honest mistake and now you know. 
For the record, whether it's fanart of my favorite shows or just a super-clever original concept with original characters, your art never fails to floor me. It is fantastically gorgeous and sleek, even with different style overtones. It has so many elements, even background detail that, as with movies, just compels you to revisit it a few times at least to fully appreciate the craftsmanship.
