Empoleon was an interesting pokemon for me. At first glance I hated it. It looked nothing like a pokemon should according to me. And then it started to grow on me. And now it is one of my most favorite steel types.

Its dex entry says that the most experienced one in a group of empoleon has the longest horns. I love the small quirks like this in pokemon that can make them stand out from others of their kind without being a shiny.

Also this is the beginning of a planned steel type team drawing. I dunno if I would have the time to draw the full team anytime soon, but it's a start.
