You're welcome, Gary.

By the way, your gallery is impressive. I just registered UF4 today after playing with it for a few weeks so it's good to see what others manage to do with it. Consider yourself watched.

alright!...let me know iffins I can help you with UF....learning curve's fairly steep but certainly doable (is that a word?)

thanks, I'll be sure to ask if I need help with anything. The learning curve does seem a bit steep, but I'm having fun with it and doing ok (I think) so far.

Thanks...

i have no idea how you did this, (this is not surprising, i have no idea how works UF4 )
but i suppose it is hard work to made this without postwork.
i love how works green and red together and the white "tansel" too.
your fractals has always a great depth and this is amazing for me.

I have no idea how UF works either, but I'm figuring out how to work it...had a little help along the way though. UF users are generally very helpful if you want to learn.

Thanks for the nice comments.

Gary you are fun, you have no idea how UF works
Therefor are your fractals wondrous beautiful and stunning.
I have UF4 but till now i have only read the introduction and
play the demo. I thought at first i should try to learn how works
Apo and how can i controlled create fractals with Apo.
With Time i will learn UF4.

sharkrey In reply to denise-g [2005-12-18 03:42:03 +0000 UTC]

ha ha...it's true! I have no idea how it works. I know how to work it, sort of, to do the things I want, but I'm just clicking around like everyone else.

Apo is the fractal gateway drug. A gateway drug is a "not too bad" drug that leads someone into the harder stuff. UF does have a little steeper learning curve, but there are a lot of good resources around...tutorials, classes, parameters to study, that kind of stuff.

denise-g In reply to sharkrey [2005-12-18 09:03:30 +0000 UTC]

oh i think if you know how to work it to do the things you want,
you are far ahead of some other people (i can't find the right term in my dictionary).
untill now the most of my fractals are the results of random, luck and play.
i think it is a lot of worth to have people around you they share their knowledge with you.
in the meantime i've got a notion that some people their knowledge not share with other,
because they have the fear other work could be better as their own work. i meet here
at devart some people they break up the agile conversation with me overnight and
they take no notice of my comments or favorites no longer and i have no idea what could be the reason.
But i meet also People the are greatly and helpful such as Tom Wilcox.
He is for me a great example/role model (is this the right term?).
is that all understandable? i mean the english

>>>most of my fractals are the results of random, luck and play<<<

Tha's somewhat true with UF. You have to go "fractal exploring" just as with other programs. BUT!...once you find something interesting, you have the controls to really work your ideas into a piece.

>>>some people their knowledge not share with other, because they have the fear other work could be better as their own work<<<

Well...it would be hard NOT to do better work than me, lol. I have generally found the people that are strong UF users to be very, very friendly and helpful with respect to the program. I relish the thought of someone really developing skill with UF and doing amazing fracs.

Thank you for the kind comments on my works...

You're very welcome Gary.

if i try to modify the flames or the triangles often is the result not better, far from it.
and too often i see in the mutation-windows so many interesting flames,
they all i needs to save (i believe that ). i have so many flames saved, which i want to render,
that i can't find the time to modify the other. oh i wish my days has 36 hours.

oh dear i have the suspicion you are ''a master of understatement'' lol.
and yes i agree with you. i think it is allways better to walk a way togehter as alone.
i think the half of the fun is the interworking with like-minded people.
