I don't mean to insult your art, but it looks awfully familiar to me. AWFULLY.
The art quality is cool, but sorry, in originality you won't get an A+. Maybe the character's description in this book doesn't give you much choice, but as an artists [a cool artist like you] you should be able to make it look the way you want without ignoring the book.
