Thank you, they are the chalky kind in pencil form... you can buy them in box form you know the expensive 64 box sets or singularly from art shops etc ... i bought a couple of packs of 12 for about 3 dollars each!

oh, wow, I haven't seen any... I'll look them up. All I have are the long, rectangular prism type that you can't ever sharpen and are a pain in the arse. Thank you so much!
