Khivic lives near the Sandspires. He is reasearching the Sandspires, and attempting to preserve and translate ancient texts he uncovers in the Sandspires. Khivic sends his translated manuscripts to the Infinite Library to be archived. Khivic likes to make his own ink using plants and minerals. He illuminates the margins of his translated manuscripts. He likes to imagine that the librarians of the Infinite Library find it entertaining, and he often sneeks in doodles of smiling cacti as a sort of look and find game. Most likely the librarians are not amused.

Khivic loves the heat of the desert, even though it makes gardening a challenge. He likes to grow his own tea and experiments with different flavors. One of his favorite teas is Spiced Prickly Pear sweetened with Agave nectar.

He has a decent collection of books including his personal favorites: "Singularity - a space opera", "Mothering the Barren Soil-a guide to desert dwelling", "Pigments, Nibs, and Illuminating Manuscripts" and "Beans- a collection of mathmatical poetry".

Khivic has a habit of trying to do too much at one time. He is a hard worker, and loves to keep his work space in order, but he is also very clumsy, knocking over piles of papers and books, spilling tea, getting crumbs everywhere, and staining his hands with ink.

Khivic wears a super useful neck scarf that he can pull up over his head for shade, use to wipe away sweat and grime or cover his nose and mouth when the wind kicks up the desert sands.
