yeah i think i made him a little fat faced....might've been the screen stretching it when i was looking at the photo or something....
haha you can see my attempts and making it thinner by shading away some of the face lol

yeah that's off, i slimmed the face last minute and didn't have enough time to do it properly XD but that's not what's bugging me, it's just the shapes of everything is a little off

Oh yeah I need your opinion in something (but I hope you won't laugh ); I started trying realism and portraits, so I started off with the eyes. I sketched a couple of them but I dunno, so I want your opinion on them [link] I feel that they're just not right, something is off with them.
And also do you think this is a good way to start learning portraits ? should I go sketching every face part alone (eyes, nose, ears, mouth,...etc), or should I start with sketching whole faces ?

i think that the anatomy practice is a good idea, but when it comes to eyes it'd be more helpful to do two together rather than one then you can practice the symmetry and different angles too, i think that's what's off

i think a mixture of faces and anatomy is good
structure is important but so are details so both
