Sincenoonereadsjournals, I'm back!I know I said I'd post this before I went to Hawaii but I fell asleep after I posted that. Haha. Sorry.
Anyways, this is the piece I gave the very wonderful when I met her at AX Con last week. Her art has truly been an inspiration for me and as an artist, I strive to be as successful as her one day.
Gosh, that was cheesy. Well, This is a piece featuring her characters from Hanna Is Not A Boy's Name. It's a comic about a paranormal investigator (sort of) and his zombie partner and the people they run into along the way. I tried to give each of them a pose that defined their character and believe I succeeded fairly well.
She seemed to have really liked this and even signed my sketchbook!
I'm really lucky to have gone and am so happy my dad sent me and hung out with me. Haha.
P.S. Another piece done completely by mouse.

And this is a great piece of fanart--it's got your own spin on the style, while retaining the defining characteristics of the original; you've captured the characters so well, in their features, expressions and poses; and it plain just looks good. That you did it with a mouse just adds to the impressiveness.

This is so good. It's got that cartoony, bubbly HinaBN look but with a bit of unique style thrown in. I love the poses, like you said they're very reminiscent of the characters. Hanna looks so enthusiastic and yay <3
