Description My gosh this is the most beautiful cross I have ever handled I cannot photograph it enough! No camera will ever be able to capture the deep rusts and blacks and oh gosh soo frigging silky and PLUSH! I'm having to hold my super fluff cross so I don't feel jealous hahaha!

Had to do some major digging to find this fox. Has all paws AND claws and the fullest tail I have ever seen. Very bright bold colors. The whiter fur on the paws is almost purple, it's so pretty!!

Yes this is 100% real, no it was not killed specifically for its fur, yes its dead, no you will not get attention by sobbing or calling names, flaming, or throwing a tantrum. Death is apart of life, people honor death differently than you might, get over it. Anyone of the sort will get their comment hidden.

While I do not agree with hunting for fun. (I believe that if you need to hunt for food you can) It really is a pretty pelt I just wish that the fox had been alive.

(Once I saw a man who killed 5 ducks and only actually took two home)

If you have time, could you please take a pic of the fur change from just before the cheek to about halfway down the neck? It would be a huge help. ^_^

Why hide negative comments? In the art world, negative comments come with the territory. Artists should not be afraid of negative comments or criticisms. If you're going to post controversial material, you gotta expect that. C'mon now! Why throw a tantrum? Get over it! Welcome the good with the bad.

It's not so much fear as keeping the focus upon what is displayed. If a comment is well thought out and shows 'yes I don't agree with this and here's why' on a level ground as opposed to throwing out words out of a panicked rage, I welcome it. It's enjoyable to discuss different points of views as long as its done in a mature and calm manner. Critiquing is also enjoyed as it's a learning material to see what can be improved upon. Comments fueled by a lack of knowledge or stubbornness to accept other peoples points of views are mostly what is removed as it doesn't add anything more than empty words.

Call me weird and crazy but I perfer my critters and people to be alive, when I admire their beauty and photograph them. The word plush means artificial stuffed animals to me and somehow its just not the same.

It would have been a better greater gift to have the animal staring back at you with the glorous light of life in its eyes. The foxes where I live are not nearly so spectacularly colored, but still lovely to look at.
Once I was lucky enough to see an adorable pair of very small kits come out of the woods on a very hot day and lay with their bellys on the cool grass of course I wanted to capture them with my camera, but of course I didn't have one at time. The memory of they're beauty still remains with me anyway.

It could also be used to describe a thickness and lushness of something, but I do have to agree, seeing this beautiful animal alive would have been spectacular, but having the chance to still marvel at its beauty even after death is still something amazing as if this had not been preserved it would have rotted away, no one ever having the chance to see its grace in the first place.

No, it isn't the same. It's not meant to be. Death is a whole other world, and a whole different type of artwork comes with it.. Most of us prefer things alive, you aren't alone there. But there is nothing long with preserving something so beautiful after its timely death.

Where do you find your beautiful pelts?

Had to do some digging and calling around with various pelt sellers. This one was purchased out of the Northwest US.

Ah cool, I love the pelts you normally use, how much did this one cost if you don't mind my being nosy?
