Hi sharpener! what kind of tools did you use to embossd that pattern?

I was playing with various nails and bits of oak that i ground/sanded down to smooth finishes (to keep them from damaging the leather) and pressed into leather scraps while experimenting last week.. did you like, take a tool and "drag" the tool in the design, or bit by bit, hammer the shape in?

and when you colored your leather, did you use a leather dye, or a stain, or a combination of both? I've been working on trying to get some leather pitch black in color, but its been a challenge!

(I'm in the US, but I could hunt for an equivalent brand if needed if yours is different in Sweden!)

apologiues for the questions, did one leather project before, and in love!

Very nice. Did you do the design free-hand or did you use a pattern?
