"So you still live above your office, right?" Harlowe asks.
"Yeah," Stanif answers. "With everything that's happened this year, I guess it kinda slipped my mind to look for something else." He laughs sheepishly.
Harlowe flashes a smile not too unlike the one before their first kiss. "Well, I think I have a solution to that."
Stanif blinks and gives the Leavanny a quizzical look, even though he can't see it. "Oh yeah?"
"Well..." Harlowe shrugs. "I was thinking about how I have this house that is really too big for just me, and I'm all alone out here..."
Stanif can feel the color rising in his cheeks and is thankful Harlowe can't see it. "You mean... move in with you?"
The other shrugs again. "If you want to."
Stanif hesitates. "We've only been together a month. Moving in is a big deal, isn't it?"
"I guess," Harlowe replies. "But I'm willing to do it if you are. Besides, then you can have that garden you were talking about starting."
Stanif's lips slowly pull back into a smile and he leans over to press a kiss to Harlowe's cheek. "You'll help me with it, right?"
Harlowe chuckles softly and reaches up to rest a hand on the Vikavolt's cheek. "Of course I will."
"I'll help you with everything."
