never knew if riften is this beautiful, all i do when i'm visiting riften is givin the beggar septim and pickpocket it back ;] go to the jail and hitting shibbi black briar and also throwing unwanted items in the market area

LOL, the last time I threw something on the ground was in Whiterun. A spoon or something else that was totally worthless... then one of the kids came over to me and gave it back. "You dropped something."

My other favourite city is Markarth. I just love every little part of that town, and there's corruption as well. Stone, vapour, blood and silver. ^^

Yes, and for Speech-oriented players, it's good too know that there's a Blacksmith and a General Good Store as well! There was a time when I was only shopping in Riverwood and Whiterun.

Where did you take the shot from? Do you remember? I always loved the way Riften — and the Rift — look; however, as I always play noble/paladin-type characters, I could never wrap my head around doing any of the thieves' guild stuff (framing an innocent man, bullying honest citizens, etc.). Instead, my characters always wished they could eradicate the thieves entirely... and I've wished intensely, on multiple occasions, that Maven Blackbriar wasn't an essential character! Ooh, I would murder her in the first dark alley I could find...

Oh, I most certainly remember; the ledge at the right side of BlackBriar Manor. At the side of the courtyard in front of Mara's Temple. I just emptied her house of valuables...
My OC Aronansa is a thief, but she has a concience and a kind personality. The only exception to that is Maven... *shudders* You might like my character sheet of her. It's in my gallery and was 'made' by my Aronansa herself.
The Rift is beautiful. One of my favourite locations. I also LOVE the highlands of The Reach.

This is a great screenshot! Great position, shows off a lot of different layers; dark and shady walkways below the bright and sunny 'lawful' side of the city. Plus the branches to the side that almost frame the shot, the wandering NPCs to make Riften look less of a ghost town, and just enough of the sky above to keep the shot from getting overcrowded, but not too much to make it feel 'cropped'. Excellent work on this one!

This city is so beautiful in the daytime. Its one of my favorite places in the game. I feel at home there.

Exactly! Every time I go there something is going on. Being the leader of the thieves guild is nice too, and Honeyside is probably my favorite manor from an aesthetic standpoint.
