Beautiful!!! How did you ever manage that face? I can't make anything remotely facelike out of polymer clay!
Great work!

Aw thank you! I do a lot of work with sculpting and clay, and faces take a lot of practice and studying of structure, but you can do them too.

Your dolls are so awesome. They look so different than everyone else's, but in a better way of course.

that is so cool! would you be willing to share the basic design of his skeleton with others who want to try making dolls like this but no understanding of how to put them together?
i like the magnet idea in the hands for special props. are we going to get to see them too? he reminds me of those porcaline clown dolls.
haha, and if he stole them from other dolls, it just prooves he really is a little goblin.

HIs basic design is an art mannequin frame with a few little alterations. I will be selling dolls like him on my Coming-soon Etsy site.

This is very impressive. I really like his earrings. He's one of those poseable art mannequins, right? How exactly did you attach the hair?

His hair is glued on a dot at a time with cooltemp hotglue applied to a sanded sculpey surface. That way I can't glue my hands to my work or burn them too badly.

Wonderful work. This is the sort of creation I'd expect to see in a Jim Henson show (and I mean that with the utmost respect and reverence).

Oh really?? *squee* Jim Henson is Awesomeness. Kesh was gonna be more creepy and grubby, more like a Labyrinth goblin, but then he turned out to be a little gentleman so I had to change plans.
