I think this design is darling.. Its true though, it would have to be pretty big. But I LOVE the concept of getting the wings outlines and having small delicate detail within. If I wasn't looking to get bats considerably smaller, i would ask to use this for inspiration.

The tattoo artists are most likely going to tell you that you need it to be...pretty big because of the detail. Otherwise, over time the lines will blur together-that's what they told me about the bat I got on my back.
But this design is marvelous. Yay.
