The Dark Samurai: a strong and menacing warrior.--------
I apologize, but I had to play with the saturation again. Something about the shade here made the sleeves on Yui's, umm... robe... come out bright magenta! I toned them down a bit, and it's really obvious to me, but probably not to anybody else. I have been experimenting with borders, and while the last one didn't really work, this one does very well.
Full view to see the AWESOME DETAILS of the outfit! You won't be disappointed!
EDIT: Since it is being brought up, I'd like to point out the following:
The kimono is a bathrobe.
The blade is not attatched to her side at all.
The blade is being held in such a way to reflect light.
She is not actually attempting to draw the blade out full, as that would have gotten us escorted out of the gardens by security!

Oh wow, and here's that better look at the outfit that I had spoken of in "Dark Samurai." Ah, kimono-looking bathrobes. Gotta love 'em. This whole outfit is wonderfully put together. The pose is an interesting one and also shows off the outfit well.

i absolutely love this pic! the kimono is stunning however there is only one problem and its minor unless the person is drawing for an upper cut when pulling out the blade it should be sideways and the sheath if you are not doing a draw or sheath should always be pointing blade up. just a little insight of the samurai ways other than the its absolutly beautiful!

It is just a cosplay shot and she's not actually drawing the sword because we were being threatened by the security at the gardens. It is also not even attatched to her side.
The blade is drawn and held in such a way that sunlight will reflect off of it.
The kimono is a bathrobe, hate to disappoint!
