-Modeled and Textured BigDaddy Doll. (Zbrush, XSI, Max for rendering)I had a lot of fun making this little guy. I can't wait for Bioshock 2 and was so happy to work on the teaser cinematic.

I know this is old, but I think this a fantastic doll. Everthing from the design to the rendering, its perfect. I'm getting one myself, and I believe I have you to thank. My favorite part is that awesome, vintage bottle cap on the film canister. Great work.

Damn, that's right on. I can't tell but the thumbtacks are supposed to have nail polish on the end. Bonus points if the nail polish has sparkles in it.
I think this is the best real world Big Daddy Doll I have seen to date.

Yes, I played through the entire game. The game is play like Dance Dance Revolution mixed with a hardcore horse racing sim.
You play as one of the little sisters (all grown up now) and have become a dancing superstar. A Big Daddy has gathered a bunch of loose nukes and plans to detonate them in a post apocalyptic Los Angeles that has been recreated on a haunted spacestation.
To navigate the vast coldness of space you must manage your stable of horses and while using your dance grooves to teach aliens how to love.
Fran Drescher does all the voice over work.
...That might have been a dream though.

For those wanting to make this, could you give a supply list? So far I figure...
Baseball (head), Pushpins (eyes/portholes), Paperclips (wire guard), Rubber band (ropie parts?), Paperclip(on the chest), Nail (some kinda pipe), Pop cap (valve thingie), Film Canister (tank on back), Rope (arms) Bead-thimble-corkscrew ('right' hand).
But i can't figure out what the left hand, body, and legs. Looks like a plastic babydoll body, and raggedyanne-esque doll legs, but i have no clue on the hand... Small amount of stuffed burlap maybe?
If you could give me a full supply list I'd love it. I'm hoping to do this as a christmas present, and i hope to start working asap ^^

You have all the parts right. There is blue string around the neck that the girl is holding. The torso is indeed a plastic baby doll body. The non-drill hand is a kind of burlap stuffed with cotton.
The tank in the back has a nail pushed into it with a bottle cap on the back. No valves.
Oh and don't forget that the red on the thumbtacks is nail polish.
If you build it, please post a picture, I would like to see the real life result.

Update:
Work finally has started, yeah slow going, but it finally happened.
Obtained baseball, babydoll, thimble, filmcan, bottlecap, corkscrew even though it's not accurate and the bead.
I think most of the other things will be easier to find then these things, except the doll legs... I went to a resale shop, and couldn't find one that would work for it... i'm tempted to just try to make a similar doll at this point instead of a hopeful copy. Either way i know it will turn out somewhat far from this original concept

I was given a concept. I don't know the poly count but I'm sure it is several thousand poly. Same thing with the texture page. I probably used 10-15 2048x2048 texture pages. Working in cinematics you have a lot freedom with the tech.

If you mean creating the doll in real life, please go ahead and please take pictures. If you mean using the image itself, then please don't. While I modeled and textured the little guy, 2k Marin owns it. I'm very happy that I can post my work and wouldn't want to step on any studio's toes.
